Reading list for 2025
I have always wanted to read more but have never been disciplined enough to stick to it. I have read a handful of books over the years but more often than not, don't finish what I start. It is obviously my own fault and I know exactly why I tend to peter out. I normally read before I go to sleep but often times I get pulled into a different direction by some shiny article online or wanting to research something for another project.
While these aren't all bad excuses, they are still excuses. So, this year I want to try something different and set a goal for myself to read at least one book per month. I know, one book a month may sound like the easiest thing in the world but with my lack of discipline at night, trust me, it isn'try-again.mdx
I already have a list of books I have either not finished or purchased with the intent of reading and never have so the list for this year is easy and helps clear my backlog.
I am already a little behind and still reading my first book Deep Work but I am actually almost finished with it and am motivated to finish it because I really want to read my next book, Outlive.
Without further ado, here is my complete 2025 book reading list!
Month | Title | Author | Cover |
---|---|---|---|
January | Cal Newport | ||
February | Peter Attia, MD | ||
March | Charles Duhigg | ||
April | Fields Millburn · Ryan Nicodemus | ||

That's it! That is the list. I am definitely excited and although my goal of a book a month may not be much it is still a goal and by documenting it here, I hope it forces me to hold myself accountable and not "wonder" so much at night before bed.
